American Prayer

(Thanks, H, for the great link!) Hey Paul, check out Hannah's blog - www.sawyersmith.blogspot.com

Here is my prayer:

May we elect a leader who believes in science, human capacity, sustainability, diplomacy, hope, and love. May we elect a leader who can inspire us to see ourselves out of the dark ages we have just barely endured.

Tomorrow night we will hold vigil in front of the church of NPR and CNN with foods representing all the swing states, all dressed in blue, maps in hand. Two pregnant women, two little boys, and two wonderful men will eat buckeyes and sweet potatoes while we count, scream, cheer and cry to Obama's victory.

P.S. I voted in Florida a month ago. The one sunny spot to the housing bust in the Sunshine State isthat I could still vote in a swing state.
