Dirt Dog

Sam had two breakthroughs on this trip -
1. He eats his sandwiches with the crusts.
2. He now loves dirt and mud.
In fact, when we got back and bought his "summer shoes," he was so excited because he would now be able jump in the mud - without wet muddy feet for the next few days.
He loved walking through the water.
This was just the begining.

Around the Campsite

We stayed at a recommended campground about 20-30 minutes outside of Bryce. We explored the area before we ate dinner.

After the Hike

Sam got his s'more before dinner because it was unlikely he was going to make it past dinner. He deserved it.
There is nothing as great as watching a kid eat his a s'more of his own making.
