Old Horse, New Kid

This was my wooden rocking horse. Sam now loves it and is petting his nose here.

Naked Birthday

Sam had many birthday parties all over the country this year, but this little party was at home. He opened his wooden sushi set.

His wooden produce set.

His special Skuut bicycle. It has no pedals and is aimed at teaching balance as early as possible. It is also called a Push-cycle or a Balance bicycle.

A little adventure in August, WY

Sam sleeps through ATVs, gunfire, and charging bulls.

Game Night

This is our Sarasota gang and the men finally caved and let me have a game night. When was the last time YOU spouted wine through your nose in laughter???

The chicken coop was freshly set up and very clean, I swear!

Boy and chicks

Chicks

Our dog and his chickens

Right before the chicks were big enough to put in the coop, we had them in these little pens in the yard. Madu "protected" them all day.

Waterfall

When Sam and I were in NC, we saw a lot of waterfalls. He was absolutely entranced with them. The above structure is Sam's rendering of a waterfall with "water down, down, down". It is the first thing he has ever built on his own.
