Fishing off of Gramps' Dock
Sam caught his first fish with Uncle Paul. I think Dad has that picture. It was huge, I tell you, huge! When asked how many fish he caught, Sam said "A zillion!"
My Favorite Words From Sam: "I want to go!"
Sam said that he wanted to go tubing with Uncle Paul and I could not have put him on that tube fast enough. I was so, so, so proud of him. Later he went with me too.

All the Blondes Together
Janet, Lynne, Alex, Christy, Hannah, Monroe all came up on Saturday to see Paul's fam and us. It was a great day and Beth cooked a fabulous meal with her famous ribs.
Sam spent A LOT of time on this stool in the shop and also sweeping the shop.
Long, long airplane trip
Sam was a "Double Thumbs Up Super Star" on the 14 hours of travel we had to North Carolina. He was so patient, no whining. Charlie was great in the backpack and wiggly on the airplane. It was my first time air-traveling with both kids alone and it went very smoothly.
