Memorial Day Party at our house

I may have forgotten to mention that during the time that I was not blogging, my mother-in-law, Kathy bought and moved into the house next door. When the spring semester was over at UF, Keith's brother Cory moved in too. Cory works at the Wine Warehouse (which is owned by another neighbor Thomas Morgan). Keith and Cory are having a great time exploring wines together. Check out Keith's blog www.geocentricfocus.blogspot.com.

Below are Emily and Lucy Morgan.

New College 07 Graduation

New College (www.ncf.edu) is Keith's alma mater, as well the alma mater of many of our Sarasota friends. This Be with little Else, Ari and Kari's daughter. New College graduation, from an outsider's perspective, is a wonderfully weird spectacle and many alumni attend on an annual basis. This year Amy Goodman was their commencement speaker.

Hmm, how does Sam feel about a baby in Mom's lap?
New College is right on Sarasota Bay.

May Day at the Sarasota Waldorf School

Sam and Be attend the Sarasota Walorf School's Parent Child Circle. We love it there and we had the wonderful experience of
rticipating in the May Day Celebration. I made the wreaths for both of us and Sam had a great time!

Maypole at May Day Celebration

Mr. Chin accompanies songs for the children before the Maypole celebration begins.

All the parents, teachers and children form a large circle around the Maypole.

One of the classes dancing around the Maypole. The last class of the oldest children (I think third grade) dances around the Maypole and braids the ribbon in an intricate dance.

Being a kid is hard work, just like being president.

One of Sam's jobs is feeding Madu. He's usually very excited about it, but everyone has their days.

Nona's present

Nona gave Sam this giant bean bag for Christmas and we all love this thing. It is the best thing for spending hours on the floor playing blocks.
