Autumn in Mormon Town

In Utah, canning maniacally in the fall is the culture. Once you've been to a few houses smelling like apples or peaches or tomatoes or pears, the compulsion to can up your winter store hits you like the apocalypse.

I've already done our home grown tomatoes, but I just forced my hand into some concoction with apples, pears, and raspberries. I've heard canning and drinking don't go well, but since I've already jumped off the cliff, I'm going to enjoy it.
